Not All Water is Equal: A Middle-Aged Man's Journey to Better Hydration

For most of my life, until very recently in fact, I thought of all water as being more or less equal. Water was something I would drink from the tap or from water bottles purchased at the gas station. It was something I knew I needed to have every so often. I also justified my excessive coffee and soda consumption by saying to myself, “well, I’m still getting my water for the day!”.

It has only been recently that I have realized that not all water is created equal. That is, that there is a difference between tap water, water from flimsy, plastic water bottles, and hydrogen water and other filtered water. I am not a scientist. I barely passed chemistry in high school, and that was with a tutor. But, I am a middle-aged man who is beginning and trying to learn some things about water and the ways it can benefit my health, to set me up for greater physical health in the later years of my life.

So, to that end, I will be exploring all things water on this site and on my YouTube channel, investigation the research into water and its benefits, reviewing water-related products, and interviewing experts on these issues so we can learn together how to maximixe water for our health and wellbeing. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
